Gigs
We've been at it for a while, playing folk clubs, bookstores, coffeehouses, churches and house concerts, and it's actually been a blast. If you'd like to book us, we can supply our own sound system, and we can play three sets, or die trying.
For our live shows, we perform signature covers, and original compositions using cello, acoustic guitar and bass. Our set includes Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing on cello; a Latin-style interpretation of Bob Dylan’s All Along the Watchtower; and a bluegrass version of the Motown classic, I Heard it Through the Grapevine.
We love playing benefits and we do it all the time (Peace, Katrina Relief, Sierra Club). And why not? It's not like we make any real money at the regular gigs. So if you're in the Philly area and you want us to play for a good cause, we usually will. Contact us at jakesings@yahoo.com.
